Bow Making 101

For me, bow making is therapeutic. (So get those orders in)

Why not share my tricks with those who want to learn? I'll admit, I'm a pretty proud mama when I see my daughter head-to-toe in DIY. Still perfecting the sewing skills since I just learned how to thread my machine (thank you Barlow Baby Quilts!)

There's a little group here called San Antonio Natural Parenting. I've been a fan ever since we moved here in February and recently donated my time to show other mamas just how fun bow making can be.

Since needles and glue guns were out, moms were asked to leave the little ones at home or in a back carry. Complete with a giveaway at the end, we spent about two hours chatting about mommy life and the possibility of mimosas at the next bow making class (TBA).

It was nice. It was nice to relax and be - dare I say - baby-free. Reclaiming our identity as crafty ladies who got to have a morning off, with new friends.

Thanks to Central Market for providing the great space!

Are you in the San Antonio area? Interested in a bow making class?
