{Welcome to San Antonio} Roo & Me

After my first time at CIA bakery, I was sold on the Pearl Brewery area.

I already loved PBR and was looking for a cool place to lay down some cycling time and still keep it family friendly. Did you know I took my little one's first birthday pics among the streets behind Pearl? That was after the security guard kicked us off the official Pearl grounds for taking photos. Umm what?

Another time. Another time.

This is all about Roo and Me. A cute - fun- fabulous children's boutique right in the Pearl Brewery area. You see, I stumbled across this place right after I left my first visit to CIA. With my mommy antennas perked, I spotted the store and placed it on my "to google" list for later that day.

During my visit, I noticed that the boutique was truly for 2T+, but recently, Tessa, has opened her doors to sizes newborn to size 10.

Fate had a hand in bringing this San Antonio-born designer back to her roots as the perfect live/work space became available in the Pearly Brewery area upon graduation.

"I love its artistic energy and its urban sensibility. Great Restaurants, bars, shops and people!" I would agree. The Pearl Brewery area is pretty groovy.

If you're not familiar with the area and just so happen to be into haunted houses - the historic Nightmare on Grayson is next-door (and in it's LAST season). Each weekend of October, the Roo and Me crew will be outside their shop with Halloween-themed goodies.

Oh hey, look, we're giving away one of their Roo! Halloween tshirts below. Stop by the shop this weekend and tell 'em Mean Baby sent you.

And I fell in love with Roo and Me at Garage of Good! I can't wait until Petite is big enough for the *fun* clothes!
